Telo AI at EdTech Week NYC: Inspiring Connections and Launching Our Immersive Language Learning MicroGrant
Last week, the Telo AI team had the privilege of participating in EdTech Week NYC, one of the most dynamic gatherings of educators, innovators, and district leaders in the United States. The event brought together people who share a common mission: reimagining how technology can empower teachers and create more inclusive classrooms.
Highlights from the Week
We had the opportunity to:
- Connect with superintendents, directors of technology, and educators who are leading innovative language and ESL programs.
- Share how Telo, our AI-powered teaching assistant, helps personalize learning in Math, Literacy, Languages, and Special Education.
- Join discussions about the future of AI in education and see how schools across the country are exploring safe, effective, and meaningful ways to integrate new technologies.
Launching the Immersive Language Learning MicroGrant
During the event, we officially launched the Immersive Language Learning MicroGrant, a new initiative designed to help schools bring AI-driven language and ESL learning directly into their classrooms.
Through this program, five schools will each receive a free Telo robot, along with full support from our team to design and run their own immersive language learning experience.

🗓️ Deadline to apply: November 11, 2025
Why It Matters
At EdTech Week, one message came through clearly: teachers and districts are eager for innovation that truly helps students succeed, but they need tools that are accessible, adaptable, and easy to implement. The MicroGrant was created to answer that need by giving schools an opportunity to explore the power of adaptive learning without financial barriers.
What Comes Next
Our next step is simple but powerful: spreading the word. We want as many teachers, principals, and district leaders as possible to hear about this opportunity and apply before the deadline.
If you know educators who are passionate about language or ESL learning, please share this initiative with them. Every application helps us bring personalized, inclusive education to more classrooms.
We are excited to continue the conversations that started at EdTech Week and to see the impact of the MicroGrant in schools across the country.
Together, we can make personalized learning accessible to every child.
