Announcing the 2026 Immersive Language Learning MicroGrant Winners 🎉
We are proud to officially announce the five recipients of the Telo AI Immersive Language Learning MicroGrant.
This year, we received a record number of thoughtful, mission driven applications from schools committed to strengthening language acquisition and giving multilingual learners more opportunities to speak with confidence.
After a careful review process, we selected five educational institutions whose proposals demonstrated clarity, intentional implementation, and a strong commitment to measurable impact.

What the MicroGrant Includes
Each selected institution receives:
- A Telo AI companion robot that the school keeps
- A full year of access to Telo AI
- Access to the TelOne Teacher Dashboard with AI powered insights
- Onboarding and implementation support
- Structured data collection to measure impact
The purpose of this MicroGrant is simple: give schools the ability to test immersive, daily speaking practice in a real classroom setting and evaluate measurable outcomes.
Why We Created the MicroGrant
In many classrooms, students receive limited individual speaking time each week. For multilingual learners, that gap can slow confidence and fluency development.
The Immersive Language Learning MicroGrant was designed to:
- Increase daily one on one speaking opportunities
- Provide teachers with clear progress visibility
- Reduce workload while improving instructional impact
- Generate real world data on language growth
We believe that every student deserves consistent opportunities to speak, practice, and build confidence at their own pace.
What Comes Next
Over the coming months, we will work closely with each of the five selected institutions to:
- Launch implementation
- Support teachers
- Collect structured engagement and progress data
- Document measurable outcomes
